Online video libraries are starting to look better and better nowadays, which, let's face it, we can't really say about our personal offline video collections. This is where Video Hub App comes in. It gives you the possibility of organizing all videos from your local folders in an efficient manner, it makes your collection look good and it also makes browsing through it a comfortable experience. It generates thumbnails, it provides filtering options and much more.

The software is free, but it has a minor limitation, which costs a small fee to remove. It is available for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X and it can be installed in just a few seconds. Furthermore, the hardware requirements are modest and there is no need to install any prerequisite tools or services.

Videos can be created in one or more hubs, which take only a few seconds to create. All you have to do is name your new hub, select a local folder and click a button. The hub won't be populated instantly, since the application will need a few seconds to generate thumbnails, which are displayed like on an explorer window, in the largest part of the user interface.

The software comes with a few simple, but quite useful features, which make it easy to browse through a video hub and identify a specific video. For example, if you place your mouse cursor over a video's thumbnail and move it left and right, you will be able to preview additional shots from that video. Alternatively, you can switch the view mode to filmstrip, which displays each video as multiple thumbnails, one after another.

Besides identifying a video visually, you can use some traditional methods as well. Specifying a word or part of a word that is contained within the name of a file or folder is one way. Additionally, you can filter the entire hub by video quality, use a word cloud or opt for the old, but still effective, search function.

Video Hub App is quite comfortable from all points of view. Creating video hubs can be done on the fly and managing the hubs can't be any easier, due to the software's comfortable controls.

A messy pile of videos can be turned into a well organized collection in just a few seconds when using Video Hub App.

Pros

The software lets you manage your video collection in a comfortable and efficient manner. It places various filtering options at your disposal, as well as other means of identifying a video.

Cons

Hubs can have a maximum of 50 videos with the free version. Fortunately, the paid version is quite cheap.
